Financing · Calgary

A financing case your lender
will take seriously.

Banks, credit unions, BDC and franchise lenders say yes to a clear business case and a plan they can trust. They say no to a vague pitch.

I build the proposal, the numbers and the story, and I prepare you for the conversation.

Lender-ready proposals for expansion, franchises, equipment and acquisitions.

Who this is for

The numbers are there. The case isn't.

  • You're buying a franchise or another business
  • You need equipment or expansion capital
  • You were declined and don't know why
  • You have the numbers but not the story around them

Lenders fund confidence. The case is how you give them some.

What I build

Where the value usually is.

Proposal

Lender-ready proposals

The business plan, the financials, the ask, and the answers to the questions a credit officer will actually ask.

Strategy

Financing strategy

Which lender or program fits the deal: bank, credit union, BDC, government-backed lending, and the grants or credits that can stack alongside it.

Growth

Acquisition and expansion planning

When the financing is for a bigger move, the plan behind it has to hold up. I build that too.

// A note on programs: Programs open, close and change constantly. I check what's actually available when we talk, and I don't quote eligibility or dollar figures on a web page.

Example of the work

What this looks like in practice.

Financing

A $300,000 financing approval for a franchise opportunity

Developed the business proposal and financing case that supported a $300,000 bank financing approval for a franchise opportunity. Real engagement, client name withheld.

How it works

Find. Prioritize. Act.

01
Understand

We get clear on the deal: what you're buying or building, what it costs, what it earns, and what could go wrong.

02
Develop

I write the case and the numbers a lender expects, in the format they expect, with the risks addressed before they ask.

03
Decide & Act

I prepare you for the lender conversation, and join it if that helps. You own the relationship. I make it easier.

// Wider view: This is one of several places a business can find growth. I look across ideas, markets, funding, contracts and operations, then help you act on the strongest option. See all services.

FAQ

Questions people
actually ask.

Do you guarantee approval?

No. Lenders decide. A strong, complete, honest case materially improves your odds and shortens the process. That's what I deliver.

Do you deal with my bank for me?

You own the lender relationship. I prepare the materials and prepare you, and I can join meetings when it helps.

Which lenders do you work with?

Banks, credit unions, BDC and franchise lending programs. Part of the work is matching the deal to the right lender, not just polishing a document.

How long does it take?

A solid financing case usually takes a few weeks to build properly. Lender timelines vary, and a complete package moves faster than a thin one.

You don't know what you don't know

What are you leaving on the table?

You don't need a perfectly defined problem. Tell me what you're trying to accomplish, and I'll tell you where the opportunities are.
